Radar Signal


Radar signal refers to the electromagnetic waves transmitted by a radar system to detect and locate objects in space. These signals are typically in the microwave frequency range and are transmitted in short pulses. When the signal encounters an object, it is reflected back to the radar receiver, which then calculates the distance, speed, and direction of the object. The strength of the reflected signal, or radar return, depends on the size, shape, and material of the object. Radar signals are used in a variety of applications in space and astronautical engineering, including tracking satellites and space debris, mapping planetary surfaces, and guiding spacecraft during landing.
