Microgravity Research

Microgravity research is the study of the effects of very weak gravity or zero gravity on physical, chemical, and biological systems. This research is conducted in space or using ground-based facilities that simulate microgravity conditions. Microgravity research has important applications in space exploration, such as developing new technologies for spacecraft and studying the effects of long-term spaceflight on human health. It also has practical applications on Earth, such as improving manufacturing processes and developing new medical treatments. Microgravity research involves a wide range of disciplines, including physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. Researchers use a variety of experimental techniques, such as drop towers, parabolic flights, sounding rockets, and the International Space Station, to conduct experiments in microgravity conditions.
