Liquid Propellants
Liquid propellants are a type of rocket propellant that are stored in liquid form and are used to power rockets and spacecraft. They are typically made up of two components: a fuel and an oxidizer. The fuel and oxidizer are stored separately and are mixed together in the rocket engine's combustion chamber, where they react to produce hot gases that are expelled out of the engine nozzle, providing thrust. Liquid propellants offer several advantages over solid propellants, including the ability to be throttled and shut off, which allows for greater control over the rocket's trajectory. However, they also require more complex storage and handling systems, and are generally more expensive to produce and use.
