I-Q Diagram
An I-Q (In-phase and Quadrature) diagram is a graphical representation of a signal in the complex plane. It is used in space and astronautical engineering to analyze and design communication systems, radar systems, and other signal processing applications. The I-Q diagram is a two-dimensional plot of the in-phase component (I) versus the quadrature component (Q) of a signal. The in-phase component represents the cosine wave of the signal, while the quadrature component represents the sine wave of the signal. The I-Q diagram is useful for analyzing the amplitude, phase, and frequency of a signal, as well as for detecting and correcting errors in signal processing systems.
