Ground Control Stations

Ground Control Stations (GCS) are facilities that are used to remotely control unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or spacecraft. These stations are equipped with communication systems, data links, and control interfaces that allow operators to monitor and control the vehicle's flight path, payload, and other critical systems. GCSs are typically located on the ground, but can also be installed on ships or aircraft. They are used for a variety of applications, including military surveillance, scientific research, and commercial operations. GCSs are designed to provide a safe and reliable means of controlling unmanned vehicles, and are an essential component of modern space and aviation systems.
