Globe Valves

Globe valves are linear motion valves that are primarily used to regulate fluid flow in a pipeline. They consist of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a spherical body. The disk is connected to a stem which is operated by a handwheel or actuator. When the handwheel is turned, the disk moves perpendicular to the flow, allowing the flow to be regulated. Globe valves are commonly used in applications where throttling or frequent operation is required. They are also used in applications where a tight shutoff is required, such as in steam systems. Globe valves are available in a variety of materials, sizes, and pressure ratings to suit different applications.
