Escape Pods

Escape pods are small, self-contained vehicles designed to provide a means of escape for astronauts in the event of an emergency on a spacecraft. They are typically equipped with life support systems, communication equipment, and propulsion systems, and are designed to be able to operate independently of the main spacecraft. Escape pods are an important safety feature on spacecraft, as they provide a last resort for crew members in the event of a catastrophic failure or other emergency situation. They are typically located in strategic locations throughout the spacecraft, and are designed to be easily accessible in the event of an emergency.
