
Empennage
In aerospace engineering, the term 'Empennage' refers to the tail section of an aircraft. It is a crucial component of an aircraft's structure, providing stability and control. The empennage typically includes surfaces such as the vertical stabilizer (or fin), the horizontal stabilizer, and the associated control surfaces, namely the rudder and elevators.
