Carbon Fiber Production

Carbon fiber production is the process of creating carbon fibers from a precursor material, usually polyacrylonitrile (PAN) or pitch. The process involves spinning the precursor material into fibers, which are then heated to high temperatures in an oxygen-free environment to carbonize them. The resulting carbon fibers are strong, lightweight, and have high tensile strength and stiffness. Carbon fiber production is a critical process in the manufacturing of aerospace and astronautical components, as well as high-performance sports equipment and automotive parts.
