Aerospace Design

Aerospace Design refers to the process of designing aircraft and spacecraft. This involves the application of various engineering disciplines including aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, materials science, structural analysis, and manufacturing methods to achieve the design objectives. The design process begins with the identification of the mission requirements, followed by conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design. In the conceptual design phase, the basic aircraft or spacecraft configuration is determined. The preliminary design phase involves the refinement of the design, including the selection of materials and subsystems. The detailed design phase involves the finalization of the design and the preparation of manufacturing drawings. The design process also includes the testing and validation of the design through wind tunnel testing, computational fluid dynamics, and flight testing. The goal of aerospace design is to create aircraft and spacecraft that are safe, efficient, and reliable, and that meet the mission requirements.
